This is a cordial glass set on a pedestal in front of an old projector screen I finally remembered I had. What a helpful backdrop! I liked the way the light caused different values of red to appear in the glass. No adjustments other than highlight slider in LR. ISO 100, f5.6, 1/20 sec.
After taking what I was certain was going to be my photo for this week I saw this 'road' snaking to a very dark set of buildings with an ominous looking sky overhead. I then spotted the gruesome face on the fence post to tie it all together. I begged for a raven to light on one of the posts, but to no avail. Adjusted blacks slightly, set to black and white, no other edits. ISO 200, f/5.0, 1/2500, hand held.
Some weeks I learn a lot about how much I have yet to figure out. This was one of those weeks for me. Lots of ideas, but not happy with how any turned out. Then I look and see Pikes Peak jutting up above the clouds and I thought Earth! ISO 100, f/22, 1/60 sec, tripod, in addition to typical edits, I spot filled an area in the sky to remove a bit of white cloud that distracted.
